FWAP’s use of the community-based science approach supported by TEX has educated and empowered impacted residents to advocate for themselves and engaged regulatory agencies to take appropriate actions.
Ohio Valley Environmental Advocates (OVEA) works for a better economy and improved public health by advancing human rights, environmental protection, and justice initiatives by uplifting accurate and accessible information through strategic action and truthful communications. OVEA advocates to give people living in the region a say in the kinds of industries and businesses they want for their communities for long-term economic prosperity through protected natural resources, individual and community empowerment and public health and policy improvements.
